Hi, I'm Richard Embling (Rich), I'm a Woodcarver/Lecturer based in South Wales, UK.

I became hooked on the craft of woodcarving as a teenager after being introduced to a local woodworking club. 26 years on and woodcarving has become an absolute passion and way of life for me. I really find the pastime of creating something with basic tools and your own hands highly satisfying.

Over the past 5 years I have focused my energy into teaching and creating instruction material to help others get into this traditional craft.
